Leadership

James "Jim" Blair, DPA, MHA, FACHE, DABCHS, CMAS, CHS-V, Is founder and President/CEO of J. Blair & Associates LLC. His 40+ years in healthcare related activities has exposed him to many experiential and academic opportunities. A career military member, he served in the U. S. Army for 28 years retiring in the grade of Colonel (06). Most notable assignments include: Chief of Staff, 7th Medical Command and USAREUR Deputy Chief Surgeon, Medical Support Services, during the height of the EURO-Terrorism era. His Pentagon assignments include: Chief of Education and Training, Office of the Army Surgeon General, and Army Surgeon General's principal representative on the Comptroller of the Army's study of the re-organization of the Army Medical Department's CONUS healthcare delivery system. Healthcare Chief Executive Officer positions range from combat field/evacuation hospitals thru short-term community hospitals to Medical Center and Healthcare Systems. He served as Vice-President of Hospital Corporation of America's MIDEAST operations. One notable Public-Sector assignment was as Deputy for Operations, South Carolina Health and Human Commission. Academic appointments include: Research Professor, University of South Carolina; Adjunct Professorships; Baylor University, University of South Carolina, Medical University of South Carolina, and Tulane University. Among his awards and decorations are two Bronze Star Medals, a Purple Heart and The Distinguished Partnership Award, ASRTA, Merck, SCHAP Project.

Project Associates are selected from a cadre of seasoned healthcare domain experts. Domain experts in the areas of Anti-Terrorism/ Counter-Terrorism/ Cyber Terrorism are seasoned professionals in their related field. Selection of Field Teams is a function of assessed needs. Client contracting protocols are established through the healthcare entity’s Legal Departments.
